| Welcoming about 240 students every
year, Brest art school has dedicated itself to offer its students
an excellent formation. Brest course has two main objectives : help
students to master the different tools required and develop their
own personal artistic sense. Thanks to its contacts, Brest often welcomes
famous artists and designers to animates special workshops. Because
the classes are human-sized, teachers can maintain a good relationship
with every single student. Brest also have very good facilities and
all the equipment needed for practicing any form of art and design.
The school often organises trips to museums or any cultural places
in order to widen the students inspiration and to analise famous artists

Degemer mat in Brest! A human sized city of
150 000 inhabitants in front of the sea, Brest is famous as being
one of the largest harbor in France. Brest stays in the history
as one of the most strategic military outpost. By being the Atlantic
military harbor, Brest has always fulfilled its mission, unfortunately
under dramatic circumstances; the city was completely destroyed
during the world war 2.
Oriented to the future, Brest has developed an efficient public
infrastructure and facilities to help the students to achieve their
objectives. By hosting more than 25000 students in one University
and a dozen of national colleges, Brest makes the education one
of its primary objectives. The presence of 2000 researchers leads
this city to be one of the most famous research centers about oceanography
and sea life science. The passion of Brest for the sea life is shown
by the settlement of the Oceanopolis, the biggest aquarium in Europe
(3,5 mio visitors since 1990, 1000 different species including very
rare fish), the existence of Marina, organization marine festival
such as race, world wide famous VOILIER.

the art school has for many years offered an excellent formation to
students from many
different backgrounds and countries. Quimper offers students a wide
range of formation such as painting, drawing, sculpture, infography,
video, cinema, ... Added to those artistic courses the school also
teaches general subjects ( languages, history and arts history,...).
The teaching is done by qualified and renowned artists who will transmit
their experience of art to the students. Thanks to the small amount
of students, teachers are able to maintain a close relationship with
every single student. Nearby the school are many art museums, theaters
and cinemas. This will create a very good atmosphere and a potential
