Soon to be 35 years old, the University of Picardie has come a long way. It has taken up a twofold challenge: to welcome and train more than 21 000 students and to develop professional training courses which are now recognized on the labor market.
The University concentrates on quality rather than the quantity. It aims to transmit knowledge and to maintain a high level of teaching.

With a population of 270 000 inhabitants, Clermont is a major French city located in very famous region, L' Auvergne. The city was founded by Rome and was the capital of the big province of the Roma Empire. Clermont Ferrand is the union between the cities of Clermont and Montferrant decreed by Louis XIII. Due to a long Christian history, Clermont Ferrand will offer to the visitors, different cathedral styles. From the general history, the Visitors will discover monument from Roma. Middle Age and Revolution era. Clermont Ferrand is turn to the art trough international festival such as the short movie festival and the Jazz Festival.

Hosting 500 foreign students from every background, from every level in French which want to integrate the University of Angers. CUFCO is an official DELF, DALF and TCF examination center. During the DU programs called "Langue Francaise et Specialisation", which is a foundation program in French language and civilization and major students have chosen, the students will be supported by an multilingual and highly qualified staff. Indeed only FLE teachers will provide French class to the teacher.

FLE CLASS:
Based on communication and small group, the objective is that the student will fluently master both writing and Oral French.

DU CLASS:
During the foundation program, the students will have introduction to the French civilization and the French education methodology. Actually the French education methodology is completely different from the Chinese education system. Education in France is analytic and focuses on personal development. After that the student will have a customized introduction to its major provided by professor from the University of Angers.
Totally the duration of the program is 504 hours between October and June, which mean 18 hours per week

Additional services
During this year, Angers will propose some seminar and visit in the city to make the students familiar with the French civilization. Those services are on demand.

But UBO also have specialized formations related with the professional and economical background of the region.
