CLASS ORGANISATION

The Campus de Bissy is an official preparation centre for the following examinations and tests:

Degemer mat in Brest! A human sized city of 150 000 inhabitants in front of the sea, Brest is famous as being one of the largest harbor in France. Brest stays in the history as one of the most strategic military outpost. By being the Atlantic military harbor, Brest has always fulfilled its mission, unfortunately under dramatic circumstances; the city was completely destroyed during the world war 2.

IFALPES can offer different courses no matter what is the student's level: from beginners to advanced students, the institute has an adapted formation for everyone.
IFALPES has three main courses: semi-intensive (12 hours/week), intensive (20 hours/week) and super intensive (30 hours/week). All these courses are available all year on semester, trimester or summer school basis.

Class organization
Human-sized classes take place from Monday to Friday on a half-day basis. Students are asked to work in class as well as alone, by completing daily homework. Highly professional teachers help students to improve their French by regularly practicing it through workshops and cultural activities.

Additional services

The teachers at GEFOR want to develop the linguistic and communicative capacities of each trainee. Dispensed teaching privileges expression and oral comprehension and is based on authentic documents, role playing, creativity exercises, simulations, discussions, oral reports without forgetting modern communication materials (video, CD-Rom, internet...).
Despite the annual course (600, 500, 420 or 360 hours), GEFOR offers many individualized formation: Intensive courses (17h30/week), Extensive courses (Number of hours ranging from 6 h to 18 h /week), Individual courses (5 hours of one-to-one tuition + 5 hours of language laboratory or workshops), Individual lessons around specific objectives (10 hours of one-to-one tuition).

Additional services
