education with a European perspective and a long standing impact is
highly relevant to today's business needs.
CERAM's distinguished faculty is organized around a solid core of
academic professionals using state-of-the-art teaching methods to
communicate advanced skills and maximize experience in the shortest
possible time. In addition, the teaching faculty draws on a select
group of highly experienced managers, international consultants and
prize-winning researchers. The Faculty brings a combination of academic
skills and professional experience. |

With 384 000 inhabitants, Nice is the 5th
biggest city in France. In France Nice is definitely the city of
artists, writers and musicians.
But it is also a perfect city for young people (Nice welcomes every
year more than 25 000 students). Because of its proximity with Italy,
Nice has a unique culture and a old and strong history. Thanks to
its position (south of France), Nice has a very enjoyable sunny
weather. This allows people to have many outdoor activities and
especially water sports because beaches are a few minutes from the
town centre. But Nice is not only a city people enjoys to live in,
it is as well a dynamic city in the services industry. Tourism industry
is Nice's first activity, but the city invested a lot in the research.
Nice is very well connected in terms of logistics with the second
international airport in France and 5 railway stations. And thanks
to its growing market, Nice can offer plenty of part-time jobs to
students.

| School introduction |
|
Founded in 1948 ESC Chamb¨¦ry,
is a small school which pay individualized attention to students.
Indeed students can expect a personalized and original coursework
oriented to action and experience, supported by up-to-date information
and communication technologies. Added to an intelligent study atmosphere
in a dynamic economic region, with an exceptional quality of life,
this allow ESC Chamb¨¦ry to offer an excellent formation,
taught by high level teaching staff (with both academic and professional
experience), and to maintain an openness to the international dimension
of management and to keep a permanent link with companies.
|
| City presentation |
|
The center of an urban area of more than 100,000
inhabitants, Chamb¨¦ry is situated between the Bauges
massif and the Chartreuse mountain range, in the cluse that bears
its name. To the south the town stretches out to the vineyards on
the hillsides of the Combe of Savoie ; to the north it almost reaches
the shores of Lake Bourget ¡ª France's largest natural
lake.
In former centuries the growth of Chamb¨¦ry
was closely related to the fortune of the House of Savoie ¡ª
one of Europe's oldest ruling families dating from the 11th century.
From 1295 to 1563 the Savoies elected the town as their capital
mainly because of its situation at he crossroads of the Alpine traffic
between France, Italy and Switzerland. Nowadays with the setting
up of the French-Italian company "Lyon-Turin Ferroviaire"
in charge of the international part of the route Chamb¨¦ry
is the hub of the new Lyon-Turin rail link project.
Communication facilities are at the root of
Chamb¨¦ry's sound economic resources. Traditionally an
administrative and commercial center, the town has taken advantage
of the surge connected with the 1992 Winter Olympics of Albertville
and of Savoie to strengthen its position and assert its role as
Alpine heartland of Europe.
